    I think people tend to focus on being safe at home. We do, or used to, spend a lot of time in our vehicles and away from home. I think it’s a good idea to keep a trauma kit in your car in case you or someone else is in an accident.

    Anyone keeping a kit? If so are you using a commercial one or self built?

    I only have a small bag with some band aids, aspirin, etc. Not too sure I’m qualified to do much else.

    you can build a kit for your truck easy enough

    band aids and the like are snivel gear and nice to have but you need trauma gear for big problems – Israeli bandages, quickclot, tourniquet, gauze packs, maybe a sam splint

    I am thinking about buying a couple of small kits for our cars from My Medic.  They also have one for boats.
